I learned from watching a discussion with Dr. Michelle Phillips, Head of Enterprise at the RNCM, that 31% of music graduates will have a freelance career.
Freelancing is such an important activity of our practice as musicians, but many find it hard to know where to start. That’s why I’m leading a presentation on
Friday 25th November to Bristol University composers about how to publish their music. I will be sharing tips from the work I’ve done interning with Richard Irwin Music,
as well as from releasing my own music. Us freelancers need to help each other out!
